By | October 29, 2011

Since David’s birthday is right before Halloween and it landed on a Friday this year, his school held their annual “Community Helpers Parade.”  Each child could come to school in costume if they wore something along that theme. David decided to be a Vet (which is what he was last year). Our Pretty Gir So [...]

By | October 11, 2011

I pulled out our set of Bob’s Books this afternoon, and David read both of these books all by himself!  He wanted to go outside and play, so I didn’t push him to read any more. There’s always later….

Flying Rockets with Papa

By | June 28, 2011

My dad made a rocket launcher for the kids to play with.  It is made from a plastic tube connected to a soda bottle filled with foam.  You just stomp your foot on the bottle and it launches a rocket made of paper and foam.

By | June 2, 2011

We try to teach our children about our faith from when they are very young.  As you have seen in this post, we encourage our children to sing songs that teach about the very core of our beliefs. Today being Ascension, I took some time with kids to read the story of this feast from [...]
