Cutie Cousins!
Our children had so much fun this past week with their cousins!
They played together for hours on end and didn’t want to part when it was time for us to leave.
I wish we could get together more often!

A Summer Visit With Nonna
We visited my Nonna this week at her nursing home.
She was doing pretty well; although, she has a hard time remembering to speak English. She lived in Italy until my dad was six years old, and has now reverted speaking mostly in Italian. I can pick up a words here and there, but I have a hard time putting them together.Nonna turned 87 in January!
I think she looks great for a lady approaching 90. -
Product Review: Sprout Organic Baby Food
As a huge fan of the Food Network, I was excited for Bunky to try out Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence’s organic gourmet baby food called Sprout. It is certified organic, made entirely from nature’s purest ingredients, without any preservatives, sugar, starches or fillers and cooked to perfection for maximum flavor. Plus, it comes in a convenient pouch package that turns into a bowl so it’s easy to use when you’re on the go.
Sprout’s recipes harness Florence’s culinary expertise, with highly nutritious, flavorful foods that your baby will love, including: Roasted Bananas & Brown Rice, Pasta with Lentil Bolognese, Roasted Pears & Apricots, Sweet Peas & Garden Green Beans and many more.
Check out the Sprout Facebook Page and “Like” Sprout to be up to date on the products and where you can buy them. Florence’s Sprout line now includes 18 recipes that are available online and at other local retailers.
Bunky tried some Stage2 Baked Sweet Potatoes and White Beans.
And he LOVED it!I loved that it came in a pouch that reseals, stands up on its own, and can be recycled through TerraCycle. I am happy to feed my children organic, all-natural food, especially when it tastes great. I tried Sprout baby food myself, and it is delicious! It is no wonder that Bunky enjoys it so much.
Now that Sprout is available at many grocery stores and online, try it out!

Blocks Under a Tent in the Kitchen
What do our kids do when it is raining outside?
Build a tent, of course!I’m sure you remember when Punky destroyed our Pack’nPlay.
Along with the Pack’nPlay, he cut apart a blanket. The blanket in these photos is that very blanket. I guess it works very well as a tent now since there are many strings that are loose. Bunky joined them in the tent as well. That is until he fell over and his his head on a block. Ouch! Poor little guy. He wants to be one of the big kids so badly, but some days, it is more than he can handle.
I love watching my kids play together so nicely. It really helped me out because I am trying to get ready for our trip to visit my family. We have friends who will be housesitting/dogsitting for us, so that is a big relief. I like knowing that our home is being taken care of and that poor, lonely Leo won’t be alone very much.
Yea for friends!
And YEA for family! -
Bunky Blowing Kisses
I blew a kiss to Bunky for the first time this afternoon. I turned my back and heard “mwah!” behind me. So I turned around and blew him another kiss. Immediately, he blew me a kiss back.
He is such a quick learner! -

Multitude Monday: Week 5
It has been months since I last did a Multitude Monday, but I really want to get to one thousand. I have a long way to go.
41. My husband’s return after a week-long trip to Canada.
42. Seeing him cuddle on the couch with all three kids.
43. Hearing Bunky say, “All Done!” at only ten months old.
44. Watching Bunky go from sitting to crawling,
to standing to pulling up, all in about a week!45. Learning my husband’s trick for calming
Punky down when he is getting too wild.46. Watching Punky build castles.
47. Hearing Spunky say, “You’re my sweet Mommy.”
48. Seeing my little girl pretending.
This time it was “going shopping”:49. A sunny day after several gloomy days filled with rain.
50. My first, not so perfect, tomato:
