Our Huge Answer to Prayer!

We’re having another baby!
Thank you for everyone who has been praying!
Here is our little baby, who we thought we might be losing. I had an ultrasound last week and all we saw was an empty sac that measured six weeks. A six week sac should have a fetal pole and a yolk sac in it, so my midwife ordered labs. The results were not very positive, and she was preparing me for the worst. I went in for my ultrasound today expecting to know for certain that I was going to miscarry.
But that was not the case!
I saw a strongly beating heart and a baby who measures just six weeks and one day. That is why we didn’t see anything last week- it was completely normal. And, after doing so research, I believe that my levels were in the normal range. To add to that, I am feeling very sick and tired- two good signs!
The kids are very excited.
Punky is determined that it is going to be a girl.
He even said to me, “Mommy, you tell that baby to be a girl!”
But Spunky keeps changing her mind about what I am going to have.
Please keep praying because I usually get very sick!

Glory to God! After having experienced two miscarriages, I can understand where you’re coming from with this situation. I’m so happy for you and you family!! You and baby will be in my prayers.

The baby is the little pickle-shaped blob to the left of the circle (which is the yolk sac) inside of the large dark area
I hope that helps! It is always so hard to tell with ultrasound. But we did see the heart beating (right near the circle) and it was the most amazing feeling!
