In Real Life

I really like this photo.
There are several aspects of it that I like, but the main one is how it is real. I didn’t fix my hair or makeup. I didn’t really even pose. I was sitting at my computer when Spunky came over to me and asked to take my picture. I looked up from my computer while she took picture after picture.
Since I am the one to usually take the photos, it is very rare that I can find a photo of myself that isn’t from a holiday or some type of photo shoot. We have, literally, thousands of photos of the children, and of those, I am sure that not even 1% are of me. Especially not of me living out my day to day life.

I really like that picture! I posted recently about the problem of not having any pictures of myself. I was sitting on the porch a day or two ago playing with the camera settings and taking random shots. I took a couple of me. I can’t say they’re my favorite, but I don’t really have many more!

Well, you look beautiful ! and Spunky takes pretty good pictures ! Funny, my little Sophia just took a ton of pictures of me this week too….the camera bug must be going around ! If any are worth looking at, I just might stick them on my blog too !

I know exactly what you mean! I always have to remind my hubby to take a pic or two of me with the kiddos for whatever we are doing. And lots of times I forget, and there’s no record that I was even there:) Now I don’t always like how I look in the pics, but occasionally there’s one that I do like.

I love when the kids take pictures…gave my camera to my 4 year old niece during her 40 day old sister’s baptism this weekend…and had to delete half of the blurred compositions, but it was fun to look at what she took pictures of, the chandelier, legs, crying baby, etc.

I’m having this problem as well… lots of pictures of baby, or baby and daddy, and few of me. I tend to be overly critical of pictures I do see of myself, but I’m trying to get over that!
