Thanksgiving & The Week That Followed

By | December 15, 2009

We started off the trip with the Baptism of this beautiful little girl:
Cousin Emmy
My cousin Paul and his wife Michelle’s daughter

We all enjoyed a wonderful dinner afterwards, where Punky was able to play with his buddy, my cousin Bobby.  They even had coloring books for the kids.
What a great idea!

Then we visited my hubby’s sister’s home!  Her husband made us an incredible dinner.  While the adults caught up, the kids ran around like crazy little monkeys.  Thanks for letting the kids trash your house! They had so much fun.

Thanksgiving Day!

My Mom prepared an amazing meal for us.

The kids love their Aunt Lu!

We were able to spend an extra day visiting my Aunt Chris and Uncle Bob.  The kids adore them.  Later that day, Spunky got hurt and wanted “Uncle Bog” to kiss her “boo-boo.”

My parents found this fun place for the kids to go to.  It has lots of old fashioned candies and ice cream.  But the best part was the train track.  It was intense!  It was designed so that you could push buttons and watch different things happen on or near the tracks.  Punky also enjoyed the Thomas train table.  I was able to find some fun Christmas gifts here as well… shhh!  Don’t tell!

We also visited Nonna at the Nursing Home several times.
I love this photo!
I have a great story to share, but I am going to save that for another post.

And of course, the kids spent lots of time with Grammy and Papa.
