Dear Kroger, I love you, but…

… your baggers need a lesson or two.
Lesson One: A customer who hands you reusable bags does not want you to put a single item in a plastic bag.
Lesson Two: If there is a single remaining item and no reusable bag to place it in, just stick it in the cart without a bag.

By the way, I got that baking sheet for free thanks to a $3 off coupon
and a sale price of exactly $3.
I love Kroger!
(Yes, Mom, I added that on just for you.)

ha, ha, I usually just take it out of the bag, put it into one of my other bags, leave the extra bag on the bagging station. Most baggers are really young and unaware (of basically everything, they are just glad they made it to work).

I have yet to go to a place that *doesn’t* need help on bagging skills!
Sometimes when I give people (usually the 17 year old working at Wal-mart) my reusable bags they look at me like I have two heads.

Renee, I, unfortunately didn’t notice the bag until I was putting my groceries in the car. oh well! But that is a good tip.

Kroger just sent me a slew of custom coupons as a “holiday gift.” Pretty cool. It was all items we regularly buy for free or big discounts. I just started the coupon thing this year. I hate it but it sure does add up.

I love getting those coupons! Last week, I received coupons for a few free things (and the $3 coupon). I have recently tried really hard to use coupon and pay attention to flyers while meal planning two weeks at a time. it doesn’t always work according to the meal plan, but at least I am not just buying to buy. It helps a lot!
