Great Grandpa’s Surgery Went Well

Update: The tumors were BENIGN!
Grandpa will be in the hospital for another week and then he will be transferred to a place with elder care for a little while.

The surgery for Nathaniel’s grandpa went well.
The doctors removed his gallbladder and 60% of his colon. They found two separate tumors, which were removed.
As of the last time my husband heard from the family, they had not yet been in to see him. I will let you know how he is doing when I hear more.

That’s wonderful…I will pray for him…I know from my recent appendectomy that surgery isn’t fun…my bowels haven’t been the same since. I’m still healing up, feeling tender, but mobile and doing most normal activities again!

Oh my gosh Michelle… this is fantastic news. You must have been finally able to breathe a huge sigh of relief!
Hopefully he will be able to function well with whats left of his colon… I will keep him in my prayers..as well as the rest of you.
