You Know You Are One Tired Mama When…

… you hear splashing behind you and know exactly what your daughter is doing, but refuse to turn around because then you will have to clean up the mess.
If you are wondering, Spunky had poured water into a bowl and was splashing it all over the place. It was water; so I didn’t worry too much about it right away. Now she’s half naked, sitting on my lap while coloring a picture of a “weed wacker over there”.

… she turns around, hugs you while saying, “mommy, mommy, mommy…” and then promptly falls asleep on your shoulder…. at 6:30pm!
Spunky didn’t take a nap today and is probably still worn out from our trip. I am expecting an early morning tomorrow, but at least the rest of the night will be easy.

Awwww… poor thing!
Some battles seem to be best left unfought; it was only water and I trust a non-carpeted floor, so then only a towel or mop needed.
Hang in there – it is hard to be a mother, expecting another child and super tired. My love to you this evening.
