I had just turned on the air conditioning in the car when Punky said,
“Mommy! Why are you blowing me off?!”
I tried to figure out if I was ignoring him or something, but then I realized that he doesn’t know what that phrase means and he was just complaining about the air conditioning.

Ha, that’s funny! You know those phrases had to come from somewhere, but it’s still confusing when kids use idioms but don’t mean them that way!

Hehe, I love it when they use big people’s phrases, in the wrong context.
Whenever I put on the air conditioning, I have at least one kid screaming “put the air off!” then when I do, another one pipes up, “put the air on!”. I can’t win.
