Friday Favorite Five

Good Moments from This Past Week:
- Spunky feeding her baby doll a bottle with her arms gentling cradling the baby’s head.
- Going to see the midwife and finding out that everything is good. And feeling the baby kick while I was there!!
- Punky asking me to sing through all of the “Jesus” songs that he knows. Afterward, he prayed for everyone he could think of.
- Watching our children play together, laughing the whole time.
- My hubby making dinner three times this week! What a guy!

Watching Doctor Who and Dexter and all sorts of fun, silly things with my friends.
Making a meal of burgers, roasted cauliflower, and oven fries for those same friends. (Plus, I had to use up that hamburger before Lent!)
Play practice boosting my confidence, and reminding me that it’s OKAY if I have an awkward first run-through, because it’s the first! Every time we ran the scenes again it was better and better.
Finding out I’m a National Merit Finalist, and will get a scholarship from my college for it.
Learning to accept and embrace that goofy, stubborn kid I was in middle school, and to enjoy that she’s a part of me even now.

One of the favorite parts of my week was taking care of your children! They are both such sweethearts and it was fun to take care of little ones again. It brought back wonderful memories of when mine were little! I know I don’t have anyone for them to play with, but I do have lots of toys, so anytime you need someone to watch them I’d love to help out.
