Hospital Stay: Day Seven

One of the doses of chemo is now complete. But my mom still has several more days of the 24 hour 7 day drug. However, she is already starting to the feel the affects of the treatments. Saturday was a pretty rough day, but yesterday she was doing a little bit better.
She also had all of her hair cut really short so that when it doesn’t start falling out, as early as this week, it won’t be so drastic. My dad said she looks very beautiful with her new haircut.
BAD news is that my dad is sick; so he isn’t allowed to go visit her. Please pray that he will get better very quickly.
Once the 7 days of the last drug are up, my mom will begin to feel all of the terrible effects of this “poison” going through her body. She will have to stay in the hospital until all of her counts are back up. This could take several weeks. Please be in prayer for her!

So glad that you’re mom is hanging in there. I can’t even imagine how tough this is. I’ll keep praying for her and for your dad to *get well quickly*!
